DAISY - Enjoying Foster Care in Canada - 2024

DAISY is currently in Canada and ready for adoption.
DAISY is a beautiful little lady. She is delicate looking but she has a mischievous, playful nature and enjoys getting cuddles from the humans she knows well.
DAISY spent 4 years with her first adoptive family then one day she was unceremoniously dumped in a parking lot and if it wasn't for the kindness of a neighbor, she would have starved to death. Her former adopters then went and got another dog to replace her! So, DAISY briefly lived outdoors in a parking lot until RDL-C stepped in to take care of her and provide shelter, food and vet care.
Personality: Friendly, social with people, social with dogs, affectionate, playful, licker, confident, independent, curious, bold/fearless, can get overly excited (jumps up).
DAISY would benefit from an adopter who mostly stays at home as she does get separation anxiety. She is very friendly but can be nervous around new people and it takes her a little bit of time to warm up and relax. However, she loves to cuddle with new people in her life as long as they let her approach at her own pace. This girl can't wait to find her Forever Home as she misses being part of a family.
Currently in the Ottawa area.
