I understand that Rescue Dogs Lebanon-Canada is a not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to rescuing homeless animals and that any misrepresentation of the above information is just cause for RDL-C to deny my application, and/or reclaim the dog once adopted.
*
I understand and agree
I understand that any misrepresentation of the above information authorizes RDL-C to deny application, and/or reclaim the dog that is in my home. I acknowledge that RDL-C cannot guarantee any dogs against parasites, diseases or destructive behaviour. I will not hold RDL-C responsible, nor seek any compensation for damages, medical fees or other liabilities incurred by the pet I foster.
*
I understand and agree
I understand that the travel from Lebanon and arrival to a new home will be a stressful experience for even the most well-adjusted dog. I am prepared for an adjustment period that could last up to a year. I agree to abide by the 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months rule. I understand that it is not unusual for a dog to regress in behaviour or develop new unwanted behaviours during the first few weeks of the transition such as accidents in the house, nervousness, anxiety, barking, jumping up, chewing, nipping, poor leash skills etc. RDL-C is here to help you navigate these challenges, but it is expected that our foster families will invest time and effort into working through these transitional challenges.
